Helium Presents: Amberia Allen
Amberia Allen is a standup comic, actress and writer. She was the 2014 HBO Comedy Wings Competition winner and made her late night television debut on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in 2018. As an actress, she has appeared as a lead in the Comedy Central pilot "Jefferson County: Probation" and has been a guest star on several television shows including HBO’s "Silicon Valley” and Freeform's “Young and Hungry.” She also was one of the stars of the reboot of PUNK’D for BET and in Fox’s pilot “Family Havoc.”
Amberia is a former writer for “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” and was a regular contributor to “The Young Turks.” She has also written for the Oscars, the Golden Globes, and Daytime and Primetime Emmys. In addition to all of this, she is the co-author of the annual UCLA “Hollywood Diversity Report" and is a PhD graduate in Sociology at UCLA with specialized interests in race, gender and inequality.
Most recently, Amberia has staffed on THE LAST OG for TBS and Kevin Hart’s REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD for Paramount+. She has also served as a Story Editor on ABC/20th’s THE WONDER YEARS, and as a Co-Producer on Nat Geo/20th's limited series MOONSHOT.
All shows are 21+ (18+ if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 30). All accompanied 18+ guests will be wrist-banded or stamped, and no alcohol will be served at the table. All parties must have valid government-issued IDs to enter the building.
Instead of a drink minimum, we have a two-item per person minimum in the Showroom, which can be fulfilled with any food or drink items from the menu. Food and drinks purchased in the bar and lounge do not count towards the two-item minimum.
Please Note: If you choose not to order anything in the showroom, there is a $4 charge per item not purchased. This charge covers our costs so we can continue providing you with great laughs!
- General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.
- Reserved seats are assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.
Please Note: We do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee seats in a specific location.
- While we cannot guarantee seats together, General admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.
- Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.
